Polar Bear Swim

There are several Polar Bear Clubs in the world, and The Vancouver Club is one if largest and oldest. inThe Vancouver Polar Bear Swim Club is one of the largest and oldest Polar Bear Clubs in the world. To be a member of this club, sigh in front of English Bay Bathhouse between 12:30 and 2:30 pm on New Year. The Memorial 100 yard swim race is the point of this event.
The No Pants Subway Ride

“Oh, I forgot to wear pants!” “So are we, feeling a little cold!” We insist that it’s a coincidence others and I forget to wear our pants. Be nice and friendly, the event has also after party, you can feel free to join it.
Chinese New Year Parade
Where: Chinatown

The Chinese Benevolent Association of Vancouver (CBA) was found in 1895, and celebrated 100th anniversary in 2006. The parade goes along Pender Street from the Millennium Gate, Turing T Gore Street and goes back along Keefer Street.

The Vancouver Sun Run is the largest 10k road race in Canada and the second largest 10k road race in the world. Every year, The Sun Run holds around 50,000 runners. The courses start the hearts of downtown on Georgia St. Though West End, finishing in front of BC Place Stadium.
Vancouver International Marathon
Where: Queen Elizabeth Park to Coal Harbour

Vancouver International Marathon is following the route from Queen Elizabeth Park and UBC, along the shore of Kitsilano, through the West End, and finishing off in coal Harbour. There are several choices, including a half marathon, 8 km race and a kids’ fun run. Enjoy your healthy and going beautiful Vancouver.
Vancouver Farmers Market

In summer, they are selling fresh vegetables and fruits such as Apples, Broccoli and Eggplant, and selling fresh Meat, seafood and cheese and organic bath soap. Walking through the market, you might be able to hear a relaxing music a guitarist plays. Good to have a refreshing summer morning events!
Richmond Night Market

You can enjoy summer night market in Richmond! You get a coupon book for various vendors so you can use it to get discount food or
for some goods at the market. You can get many kinds of food such as dumplings, dim sums, takoyaki, bubble tea and BBQ meats etc.

Vancouver International Jazz Festival

You can enjoy impressive Jazz music in Vancouver.
More than 40 venues around the city. Past famous line-ups feature diverse acts Sonny Rollins, Kid koala and Babel Gilberto etc. There are free outdoor events in Yaletown featuring with various restaurants as well.
Canada Day

Canada Day is the most biggest cerebration in Canada. Everyone is celebrating this day at Downtown, Granville Island, North Vancouver and Surrey etc.. You can see the parade around 7 pm, and the fireworks starts at 10:30
The Celebration of Light

Every year, three countries compete over three evenings as the world’s largest fireworks competition. There will expect to have up to400,000 spectators in English Bay. To have a good seat, we recommend you to go there at least 2 hour before.
The Pride Parade and Festival

Canada is the country where admit people get married with the same sexual. Getting attentions from a massive 650,000 spectators, Vancouver Pride is a world-renowned celebration of the lesbian, gay and bisexual community. The parade finishes off with a festival at Sunset Beach featuring live music and a local market.

Fright Night

Fright Night opens only for 2 weeks before Halloween. There are haunted houses, roll coasters and the freaky sideshow, in total you can enjoy thirteen kinds of attractions
Parade of Lost Souls
Where: around East Vancouver in Commercial Drive area

The Parade of Lost Souls Walks has traveled around Eat Vancouver in Commercial Drive area. This event occurs the Saturday closest to Halloween. Although there is no admission fee required, it is recommended to pay for donation. The event keeps in mystery. The location of the Parade will not be announced until 12 on the morning of the Saturday closest to Halloween. The walk is run by volunteers. If you are interested in, you are able to get involved in.
Vancouver Christmas Market

This authentic German Christmas Market has the excellent atmosphere for celebrating with friends mad family. Between the market season, there will be a mix of food and amusement booths such as German traditional cookies, cakes and baked apples. As well as here is well-known place for Kids’ Market to make Christmas gifts and ride downtown Vancouver’s only Christmas Carousel.
