Cat cafe in Vancouver

88 West Pender St

How do you release your stress? Some people drink alcohol. Some people isolate themselves from everything. Some people read books… Every one has their own way to get rid of their stress.
If you are stressed or you just like animals, this is a must-visit! Studies show that interactions with animals can decrease stress in humans.
The Vancouver Catfe is not only a fun, unique place to hang out – it’s also a comfy and modern lounge full of wood, cat-themed art work, and most importantly – cats!

When you arrive, you check in at the cafe where you can grab a hot drink, some food, or some cat-themed merchandise. Admission into the cat room is $5 with a cafe purchase and $8 without. You’ll also need a reservation to enter the room, but there is also space for 2 walk-ins per hour. Inside the cat room, cats are free to roam around and socialize as they please. The cat room and the cafe are both great spaces with tons of natural light, so there’s a good chance you’ll be coming back for more.
Get therapy from cats here😊

How to get a library card?

If you are living in Vancouver, don’t miss the opportunity to get a Vancouver Library Card. Registering in the library can allow you to borrow books and DVD movies as well as to participate in free activities in more than 20 public libraries around the city. Also, there is an Inspiration Lab and you can record professional quality audio and video in one of our recording studios, convert photographs, slides, audio cassette tapes, VHS tapes, and 8mm video cassette tapes into digital file formats at our digitization stations, and edit digital images, audio tracks, and video clips. What a great deal!

English as a Second Language (ESL) students just need a few documents to get the library card.

You should get a current postmark (dated and no more than one month old) to present in the library. If you are living in a homestay or if you don’t have a postmark with your name and address, you should take a letter from the owner of the place that you are living in.

You need more than 6 months of visa to make your library card for free. Other option would be to have the visitor card. In this case you will spend $28.

Take this great deal!
