Enjoy Exercise and Get a Fit Body!

Have you ever heard “hot yoga”?

Hot yoga became so popular in Vancouver, but do you know what hot yoga is?

Hot yoga became so popular in Vancouver, but do you know what hot yoga is?

Hot yoga is a vigorous form of yoga performed in a studio that is heated to 105F (40C) and has a humidity of 40 percent. The formal name for hot yoga is “Bikram yoga”.

Survive a couple rainy Vancouver winters, and you’ll know pretty quickly how beneficial heat can be to the body, the mind, and the soul.

There are tons of benefits. Here are some example:

Muscles: The benefits of hot yoga and the heat allows you to achieve greater flexibility and ease getting into the postures, which means you get the benefits from the postures more quickly, and it is safer to push yourself further into the postures

Heart and lungs: Your heart will beat faster creating the same effect as any aerobic exercise, which makes your body burn fat more effectively.

Skin: You sweat! Your body uses sweating to detoxify, and it makes your skin glow

There are various hot yoga studios in Vancouver! Give it a try and get healthy body!
